SALON POLICIES
Late Policy
Unfortunately, clients who are late by 15 minutes or more to an appointment will need to be rescheduled. This will help to accommodate all other clients on the book and ensure that you receive a full service.
Cancellation Policy
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a Cancellation fee will apply.
We require a credit card on file for all new clients. Your card will not be charged at the time of booking unless you "no show" your appointment or fail to cancel.
Less than 24-hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount for salon services.
“NO SHOWS” will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount for salon services.
Appointments made within the 24 hour period and need to cancel, the client then must cancel within 4 hours of appointment time or will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
Payment
We accept cash, venmo, zelle and all major credit cards. CC's will carry an additional 3% fee. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Refund Policy
Retail
Retail items can only be refunded if unused, in their original packaging, and presented with a receipt within 7 days of purchase. Refunds will be issued for TBL credit only.
Services
If you received a service that you are not happy with, please let us know within 7 days and we will try to re-book your correction within the first week, so we can make it right. We do not offer refunds on services.
Packages
Sales of packages or series treatments are binding transactions between you (the “Client”) and The Beauty Lounge and NOT the Provider that may have sold you the package. If the Provider that sold you the package is no longer with the company or unable to perform the treatments for any reason whatsoever, our sole obligation is to substitute another Provider in lieu of the original Provider. Only under special circumstances shall refunds be issued and such refund shall be for TBL credit only.
PETS
We would like to remind everyone that pets of any kind, other than service animals, are NOT allowed in the salon. The State Board of Cosmetology and The Board of Consumer Affairs have specific Rules and Regulations stating that NO animals of any kind are to be permitted in the salon at any time. Service dogs with the official "Service Animal" vests are the ONLY exception. Therapy dogs, emotional support dogs and/or companion dogs are not recognized as “Service Animals” according to The Board of Consumer Affairs. We invite you to speak with us about any questions or concerns regarding this state law.
Child Safety
We LOVE family and children but, our space is not child-proof. For safety reasons and insurance purposes, please make sure to schedule child-care prior to your appointment. If this is not possible, we reserve the right to reschedule your service in order to maintain the safety of your child.
Cell Phones
We like to think of The Beauty Lounge as a place to rest and relax. We kindly ask that you try not to use your cell phone. However, if you need to take a quick call, please be considerate of those around you who are enjoying their service.
